Welcome to The Ballet & Dance Center (BDC)! Professional faculty, teaching the love of dance to all! We are a state of the art dance facility featuring Harlequin brand sprung dance floors, studio quality sound systems and two fantastic locations; one on Erie Blvd. East (behind Men’s Wearhouse, near Barnes & Noble, across from Marshall’s Plaza) and the other on Euclid Avenue (in the Erwin First United Methodist Church).
BDC offers the strongest dance curriculum in the area, which integrates all dance forms. An amazing team of faculty, with an extensive teaching background and years of dance expertise has been assembled. There is a professional training atmosphere that develops the entire student.
Each teacher believes passionately in treating every student with respect and dignity in a supportive, caring and personal environment. Every dancer is unique and we intend to bring each student to his or her fullest potential in these ways: physically, creatively and emotionally. We intend to build not only self esteem, but self awareness.
We will continue to teach the love of dance to all! Our youth classes are divided into three divisions, general, core and open. The General Division is designed for young dancers just beginning their training. The Core Division is for the serious dancer who decides to make more of a commitment to his or her dance training. The Open Division accommodates dancers who still want professional training, but a lighter schedule. Our Dance for Fitness Division for adults offers body conditioning through Dance, Ballet and Stott Pilates. No experience is necessary! Come try our unique and fun approach to exercise and be sure to leave your inhibitions aside.
We look forward to dancing with you soon!
